Crisis Services

Permian Basin Community Centers offers crisis intervention/suicide prevention services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  These hotlines provide 24 hour a day contact for persons experiencing emotional crisis situations, including possible suicide.  The hotline is answered by an American Association of Suicideology (AAS) accredited hotline. Staff are available to provide face-to-face intervention including mobile assessments by our Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams (MCOT) and emergency hospitalization.

Call the Crisis Intervention/Suicide Prevention Hotline, provided by Avail Solutions, Inc. They will determine if the individual is eligible to receive a crisis response assessment.

  •  If it is suspected that the individual is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, medical clearance is needed. This will assure the validity and reliability of the crisis response assessment as well as facilitate hospitalization if it is warranted.
  • If the individual requires medical attention, see that their medical needs are met before contacting the Crisis Intervention/Suicide Prevention Hotline.
